In this session we will examine the contemporary realities and myths of political and social discourses in relation to refugees and asylum seekers from a global and ‘local’ perspective. Taking a whole systems approach, we will examine the different responsibilities, challenges and opportunities for agencies and social work in supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
